When it came time for Hunter to propose, he had the perfect pan. In June of 2024, Bailee’s family and Hunter all went to Myrtle Beach for vacation. On the day he proposed, they started their day like normal and headed to the beach. While they were sitting on the beach, Bailee’s momma asked her if she would be fine with taking pictures after dinner since they would be dressed up. They left early to get there early because it is always busy. Bailee found it weird Hunter was not eating a lot like he said he was and he was being more quiet than normal. However, she still did not know anything was up and thought he was tired out from the sun. Back at the resort, Bailee’s dad dropped everyone off while Hunter rode with her dad to park the car. Once everybody made it up to the condo, Bailee ran to the restroom and her dad and Hunter went into the laundry room which she thought was weird but brushed it off. They all finally made it down to the beach. A lady they did not know was walking and they asked her to take a picture of them all together and she took several. Then, Bailee’s mom and dad stepped out and Hunter and Bailee got a picture with both of her brothers. Then, weirdly, Bailee’s dad said “Let’s just get one of you Bailee, by yourself” and she complained and asked why, her dad said, “Because I’m your dad and just want a picture of you” and she said okay. Then as she was standing for her picture, Hunter snuck around her and got behind her on one knee and tapped her back and she turned around and he asked her to marry him! She was so surprised, it was the best day of her life! Also, a local meteorologist was walking down the beach at the same time Hunter proposed and captured a picture of them and shared it on his news page!
