Zach and Morgan tied the knot on October 29, 2022 at Hidden Acres, in Marion, South Carolina. The weather was cloudy with light rain throughout the day but everyone made the best out of it- rain on your wedding day is good luck after all!
The energy while everyone was getting ready was busy and energetic. The bridesmaids were finishing their hair and make-up when I arrived. They all were so excited about the day and were all smiles! The groomsmen were together hanging out in the groom's suite and then got ready for their photos. They all seemed to be enjoying each other, hanging out and laughing just having a good time. Zach seemed very relaxed and ready to get married!
Morgan was a gorgeous bride! She seemed a little anxious about the weather but so ready for her ceremony to arrive. I am sure the rain was a bit of a disappointment but she made the best of it and was still able to celebrate her day.
Zach had such a great time hanging out with his groomsmen before his wedding. Before the he did a first look with his children, he had a surprise first look. One of his groomsmen put on a wedding gown and did a first look with Zach. His reaction was priceless. He was not expecting it at all! Zach's second first look was with his children and it was so sweet. Morgan watched through the window as he did both first looks. He also got very teary eyed when he saw his bride walk down the aisle. It was a precious moment. Morgan did a first look with her bridesmaids and they had a sweet reaction to seeing their friend all dressed up for her big day. The couple did a first touch and read their vows to each other privately before the ceremony. It was very sweet. Morgan tried hard not to cry, but as she read Zach's vows, she could not help but tear up.
The venue was beautifully decorated for the reception and ceremony in sage green with flowers and décor to coordinate. In the chapel, they had a cross with flowers around it. They chose to tie a knot during their ceremony which was a sweet touch. Once the ceremony was over, the guests went to the reception area. Each table had a centerpiece and some even had large arrangements of flowers. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were
placed around the other tables as part of the decoration which was a great idea! They had a table with photos of their loved ones who had passed away which was so special for both families. Another great touch was a greenery back drop with their name lit up as a photo opportunity for guests and the couple to take pictures.
The guest had a great time at the reception, everyone was happy and some even danced the night away. Schoolhouse BBQ catered the wedding and everyone loved the food! Zach and Morgan did a traditional bouquet and garter toss as well as cut their cake. They also did a mock send off with sparklers which made for some fantastic photos.
My favorite part of the day was the fact that even though there was some rain, Zach and Morgan did not let it stop them from enjoying their special day. Your MBL family was so honored to be able to capture all the fun and sweet moments throughout the day. We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together!
