Carli and Weston wed on March 23, 2024, at Collins Grove on a beautiful spring day. It had called for rain all week but luckily, they buried the bourbon and it worked because we did not see a drop of rain during the ceremony or the reception. These two sure know how to have a good time and so did their wedding party! Everyone getting ready was so excited to celebrate these two, both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen were all laughing and having a good time. They all were just so genuinely happy to see Carli and Weston get married, they were all there to help and bring joy.
What I noticed most about Carli is her loving disposition, she is one of the sweetest people I know. She wore a smile all day and you could tell genuinely happy she was to marry the love of her life. Weston was so fun to be around and the love he had for Carli was unwavering, I could tell how much he not only cared for her but for everyone he loved. Even when he was a little nervous, he was still making everyone laugh. I loved how they wrote sweet letters to each other to read before the ceremony. Weston and Carli decided to do a first look, and it did not disappoint! When he saw Carli, he could not hold back the tears and smiles. He was in complete awe of how beautiful she looked and even Carli shed a few tears over her Groom's reaction. It was such a sweet first look and I am so glad I was able to capture these memories for them to cherish as the years go by.
The details and decoration were so timeless and classy, Carli went with whites and greenery. It was very lovely and she had beautiful floral centerpieces on the tables. There was a gorgeous chandelier over the dance floor covered in greenery which gave the space a beautiful touch. They also had a huge letter sign that lit up with “Lewis” at one section of the venue which also was a beautiful personal touch, it made for great decoration as well as a photo opportunity for them and guests. I loved how they had a signature cocktail sign named after their furbabies “Sadie” and “Belle”, who both mean so much to them.
My favorite part of the day had to be their first look! They originally planned on not doing the first look. As the wedding day approached they decided they wanted to use that time afterwards with their guests and each other. So, I am extremely happy we did what they wanted and what they thought was best for their wedding day! Not to mention Weston still gave us a beautiful reaction during the first look and the ceremony! There was not a dry eye in the crowd as she was walked down the aisle by her dad and brother! Carli and Weston, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day, it was an honor to capture these memories for you. May you have a lifetime of love and happiness! Congratulations!
