James and Lexi got married at the Cabin at Old Spur. It was a beautiful yet scorcher of a day and sprinkled rain just enough to give them good luck. The wedding party was a great group of people, the girls had a great time listening to music and were willing to help Lexi with anything she needed throughout the day. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous blue and white dresses and the groomsmen wore navy suits, they all looked so dapper!
What I noticed most about Lexi was how sweet she was, she wore a smile all day and was excited to be marrying her best friend. James was so happy and willing to do whatever was needed to ensure they had a great day. Despite how warm it was, he did not complain one time! He was just so happy to be marrying Lexi. Lexi and James decided to do a first touch and had their officiant pray over them. It was such a sweet moment. James smiled most when Lexi stepped out of the vintage Rolls Royce! Lexi also did a first look with her grandparents which was so cute! After this, she did a first look with her dad and brother. Her brother teared up a little, it was precious.
The décor and venue was gorgeous! Lexi had ALL the details! Everything was meticulously thought out. She chose creams and blues and had several ornate pieces of Chinoiserie. She also incorporated gold and pearls, it was breathtaking! One thing I loved about the reception was instead of the bouquet and garter toss they did a custom t-shirt toss! It was really neat and different! They had a pretty white photobooth with their crest on that made for a great photo opportunity for their guests. They also dug up the bottle of bourbon they buried a month prior for good luck on their wedding day, and it worked!
The best part of the day was just seeing all the little details that went into making this wedding beautiful and grand as well as how much love surrounded James and Lexi. Congratulations to a great couple, it was an honor to capture your memories!
